It notifies waiters about important details like customers' birthdays and food allergies, allowing for quicker and more personalized service. The device also assists waiters with daily tasks by alerting them when inventory is low and enabling communication with the kitchen staff. This system provides restaurants with valuable insights to make better management decisions.

  1. Presto-Exclusive SmartwatchFor Exaud, the challenge was to develop a customer smartwatch platform tailored as a Presto-exclusive gadget, with the goal of enhancing staff performance and improving the customer experience.

Solution

Custom Android for Presto SmartwatchesWe developed a custom version of Android specifically designed to work with Presto's smartwatch hardware, which was incompatible with standard wearable platforms. This custom firmware enabled a single-app mode on the smartwatch, restricting access exclusively to the Presto app.
  2. Backend DevelopmentWe also built a separate backend using Google Firebase to manage and organize the data collected from the smartwatches, ensuring efficient data handling and processing.
