Our Take On droidcon Lisbon 2019

droidcon has become the Meca of the Android enthusiasts (or should we say the ‘Fátima’ of the Android enthusiasts? We’re talking about its first Portuguese edition after all).

Droidcon took place from September 9th to the 10th, in Lisbon, where over 250 developers got together for its very first edition in Exaud’s home country.

That said, our Exaud team couldn’t be more excited about spending two days full of workshops and lectures provided by the crème de la crème of the industry. We’re talking about big players such as Yelp, Google, Uber, WhatsApp and Microsoft. 

Our feedback? droidcon Lisbon was up to its task, by proving the well needed space to open the conversation about the challenges and the hottest trends for your every ‘droid needs.

From lectures about code reviewing to ‘the big don’t’s’ in Android development, networking sessions and awesome coffee breaks (which our team was happy to point out!), we’re glad we had the time and all the excitement needed to take part in this adventure and couldn’t be more proud to see that Portugal, not only was a terrific host for droidcon, but was proud to present its very own brilliant developers, proving that we’re not simply an awesome vacation destiny. Talent flourishes here and we’re always seeking improvement, justifying why so many companies have been looking for us to grow their ideas!

And now, droidcon London waits for us on the 24th and 25th of October! We promise to come back with news and some souvenirs, but in the meantime, visit our blog and join our newsletter to be the first to know about our new projects and handy insights from our team.
