CCPH Idea Café: How To Capture New Businesses Remotely
Small groups of DDPC members gathered to hold a productive brainstorming session and Exaud was one of the IT companies that was present to share its experience and practices of the last 3 months. Posted onby ExaudLast week, the Dutch Portuguese Chamber of Commerce held their first Idea Café, where small groups of DDPC members gathered to hold a productive brainstorming session.
Exaud was one of the IT companies that was present to share its experience
and practices of the last 3 months, since the main goal was to support each
other in light of the Covid-19 crisis.
After everyone introduced themselves and shared their main concerns and
considerations, we picked a theme to discuss. Our challenge subject was
‘How to capture new businesses remotely?’ and that’s what we’ll be sharing
today.
Consider Pro Bono Work Or Discounts For Special Clients
It’d be impossible to live out of pro bono projects, however, during a time like this, most important clients will appreciate the gesture. We just have to think about it carefully and strategically: which clients will potentially come back once everything is stabilized? What can we do to fidelize them? If not pro bono work which discounts or payment benefits can we include in our proposals?
Add Value To The Offer By Creating Upgrading Current Projects
Add a new feature to an ongoing project: it doesn’t have to be complex, sometimes a new add-on shows that we care about the project and are looking for ways to improve it and deliver the best solution possible.
Step Up The Communication
Communication is key which implies carefully working and elevating our
email communication, social media and most importantly, content.
Sharing the right message through this time is crucial and so is being in
touch with current clients, partners and the community.
Share The Expertise
Why not offer free consultations? Share our expertise and let prospects discuss their ideas and projects. Plus offering a strict NDA to ensure privacy and security.
Keep The Team Motivated
Uncertain times call for special measures to keep companies’ teams motivated and their spirits uplifted. Training is always a good option to keep the developers whose projects have been postponed, motivated and engaged. A motivated team will help you think of better solutions, how to attract prospects and keep current clients happy.
What are your thoughts on these practices? Can you relate to some of these?
