Tell us a bit about yourself and why you’ve decided to become a developer.
I’m a country boy who happens to be a bit geeky. I aspired to be a developer mainly because it offers me the possibility of being a creator and work with state of the art tools whose purpose is to make life easier for all of us. I also like to express my creativity and programming offers me a channel to do that.
You are pursuing a Master degree program in Informatics. How do you think it is going to help you at your work at Exaud?
My Master is focused on graphical systems and multimedia and I mainly learn how to develop engaging and easy to understand UIs. Since Exaud is focused on mobile and wearable systems, which I believe need to be focused on user interaction, I think my studies can give me some advantages. Besides that, I also have the possibility of trying new technologies beforehand as I am still inexperienced.
Which of your strengths is the greatest?
I think I am too proud to give up easily, plus I considered myself to be a creative person.
Fun Facts
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
Well, I don’t know but I wish it would be flight. I actually like heights.
Or having the ability to clone myself. That would be handy.
Would you rather never be able to use a touchscreen or never be able to
use a keyboard and mouse?
Never use the keyboard and mouse no doubt. Although it would be annoying, I
believe touchscreens are the future.
Where would you spend all your time if you could?
In nature, a forest or a mountain for example, but with wi-fi connection of
course. Or else how would I stay updated with the world?
