We’re happy to introduce Margarida Gonçalves, who has been a valuable
member of our Business Development team for some time now. Get to know
more about her role and what she enjoys outside of work in this
interview.
Tell us a bit about your background. What are some of your previous work
experiences and what inspired you to apply for this position?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Fernando Pessoa University and I’m currently enrolled in a QA Analyst training program.
While I was pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree, I gained valuable work experience in customer service roles. In 2020, after completing my degree, I landed a position at a multinational technology company where I provided customer support to clients in the United Kingdom.
Following my previous role, I further developed my expertise in sales while working at another company. There, I fine-tuned my ability to identify customer needs, deliver relevant products or services, and provide a positive experience throughout the entire customer journey. I am thrilled and challenged to join Exaud, a company with extensive expertise and knowledge in the software development area. This field offers endless opportunities to explore and support different market needs, making it an exciting place to be. I’m eager to keep learning and growing in this sector.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use
it to help the team/your work?
Mind reader! As an observant and curious person, I would love to have the
ability to read minds – this would be an incredible asset as a salesperson
during meetings with customers and the team.
In your opinion, what’s the most important quality a team member should
have?
My professional life motto is to “be the coworker you needed when you arrived at the company.” I strongly believe that cooperation and energy are essential qualities for every team member to have in order to drive the company forward.
If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and
what would you ask them?
Maybe my Grandfather. I would like to know about what happens after we pass on, how my grandparents are both doing and if my little dog is with them wherever they may be.
What’s your favorite hobby or activity to do outside of work, and what do
you enjoy most about it?
I prioritize spending time with loved ones and enjoy traveling when possible. Recently, I started running and achieved a personal milestone of running 10km within an hour in just four months.
