TypeIt Wear Sms 1.7 is Here

We’ve just released an updated version of TypeIt Wear Sms (1.7) and it’s now available for free download in the Google Play Store.

TypeIt Wear Sms, our messaging app for Android Wear, got a new update to give the users the best experience possible. With the Android Nougat launch and its new functionalities we felt the need to adapt our app to it, letting users take full advantage of its capabilities.

Added Support for Android Nougat

The app is now compatible with the new split-screen mode that allows Android users to have two apps at the same time in the screen. This gives the user some advantages being one of them the possibility to drag and drop text from one app to another. With this feature implemented our users can now change a predefined message with a simple drag and drop (the inverse is also possible). In this Android version is also possible for the user to change the resolution and the size of the text so we had to make the content of the app dynamic in order to handle the different users choices.

Interface improvements

We made some improvements in the interface in order to be the most attractive possible to all the users. We also fixed some visual bugs such as the Collapse Toolbar not being scrollable in the Settings Fragment.

Bugfixes

We were getting some crashes in specific devices so we had to analyse and work to fix those crashes in order to make the app more stable across all devices.

We will continue to work on the app to give users the best experience with new functionalities and more stability. Meanwhile we are happy with the users feedback and the app rate at the Android store.
