We are proud to introduce our new team member, software developer Tiago Morais. Tiago is a Portuguese guy who joined us last December and will be helping the development team with all the technical bits to make current and future products even better. To give him a chance to shine, we’d like to formally introduce Tiago in his own words.

Why Exaud?

I’m a big fan of everything software related, mainly mobile app development. The projects Exaud is working on really interested me and made me hopeful for my future here. Also, the enjoyable work environment along with the company culture made me want to work here.

What’s your expertise?

I have knowledge on several languages, such as C, C++, C# and Java, web development using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP. I also have a passion and interest in developing for Android.

What previous experience do you have that is important to your work here?

I studied Computer Science at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança and then for the last year I had the chance to be involved in two projects, both of them related with Android development. In one of the projects, my team participated and won the re:dy Challenge Award, promoted by EDP. The re:dy app was designed to manage home energy consumption via a mobile device and we improved it by adding a location awareness system so the information of a specific division is displayed anytime the user enters a new room.

What do you do in your time outside of Exaud?

Outside of work I enjoy watching TV shows and movies, visit new places and watch football games. I also love playing soccer and I do it whenever I have some free time.

We’re happy to have on board!
