The Best of CES 2020

Find our favorite CES 2020 exhibitors and projects. Needless to say that we’re already planning next year’s visit. Posted onby Exaud

CES Las Vegas has been taking place for the last 50 years, gathering everyone who’s enrolled in the business of consumer technologies, presenting next generation innovations and marketplace game changers.

2019 edition had over 175K attendees and we were thrilled to take part in the 2020 edition!

Attending such a major event is also an opportunity to potentially build partnerships and take advantage of networking with some of the most highly regarded players from several technological fields, and despite all the rush and meetings, we still wanted to share some of the things that made our CES visit remarkable.

Philips’ SmartSleep

The Dutch company Philips is well known for providing health and well-being products since their creation 126 years ago. Their presence at CES marked the arrival of Philips’ SmartSleep solutions to North America.
Philips’ Smartsleep is completely focused on sleep wellness, from ‘putting snoring to rest’ to treat sleep apnea. The SmartSleep technologies take form as headbands, stomachbands, smart lights, and even a an apnea mask, all with embedded app functionalities in order to provide the adequate treatment to each user.

Copilot

Nobody could be indifferent to Copilot’s CES stand after they brought a real front end from a plane to the exhibition.
By becoming the ‘copilot’ you were able to know more about their platform that provides automated Customer Experience to consumer electronics companies, reducing product returns, boosting product rating and opening new channels of revenue, providing a critical advantage over competitors.

Automotive Grade Linux

AGL was also present at CES with booth demos available, presenting their software shared platform for automotive applications.
Currently, they’re the only organisation that brings all software in the vehicle together!

John Deere

Chances are that if you step into CES showroom, you’ll probably find a tractor laying around – John Deere is a centenary brand that develops products and services linked to the land, from agricultural to forestry. CES recognised the 8RC Tractor as an award winning technology and honoured them with the Tech for a Better World Category Award due to its product design and engineering innovation, which was showcased during the four exhibition days.

KONKA APHAE Smart Wall

The Chinese company has been a success of sales in China and their display technology just entered the American market.
KONKA’s big attraction, APHAE Smart Wall, contains one hundred million RGB LED chips processed with high speed and precision, resulting in vibrant and vivid colours on screen for an outstanding experience.

DeepRoute

CES was the chosen place for DeepRoute to debut its autonomous vehicle new technologies, including DeepRoute-Tite, a vehicle-grade computing platform solution. These new solutions reinforce the safety of autonomous vehicles and also reduce significantly the cost, size and power consumption of the vehicle.

Rightware Kanzi

Well known for its products design, ease of use, high performance and workflow efficiency, Rightware showcased Kanzi, their User Interface Design Software. This automotive industry solution accelerates UI design and allows designers and engineers to work independently and in parallel without the risk of disrupting each others’ work and progress.

CES was a delightful surprise to our team, not only because of all the exhibitors and overall technological bits, but also due to the extraordinary people and projects we got to know and made our experience one to repeat next year.
