Bubble, Bump, Bond: Exaud's Summer Team Building 2026

You know that colleague that goes on vacation in September, after everyone has already used up their vacation days? Well, that’s exactly what we did – embraced the end of summer with the funniest team building event, either to motivate the team for the final months of the year or to have calmer back to work! 

Bubble Football

The idea for this year's summer team building was simple: have fun, together, away from the screens. So we kicked off the afternoon with Bubble Football – inflatable bubbles, fierce competitiveness, plenty of collisions and, of course, endless laughter!

It's hard to take yourself too seriously while bouncing off a teammate mid-tackle, tripping over the ball, or missing a goal from a meter away. The activity broke the ice fast, with everyone, regardless of role or seniority, cheering (and tumbling) side by side.

By the end, the team started wondering whether they were at a corporate event or an intense training session, but the funny memories of the moves colleagues pulled off will stay with us forever (much to some people's dismay!).

Traditional Games

After such a high-intensity activity, Exaud's athletes needed some rest, so a round of traditional games followed, bringing a lighter and more nostalgic energy to the end of the afternoon. From tug-of-war, blindfolded races and hoop-and-water-balloon races to limbo, the team truly shone, showing off their balance, strength, flexibility, and sense of direction – all while keeping the team spirit alive!

These simple and low-pressure challenges were a great equalizer: no special skills required, just teamwork, timing, and a good sense of humor.

Dinner

The day wrapped up with a team dinner at Restaurante Churrasqueira Meia Banana & Brasa, in Vila Nova de Gaia, giving everyone the chance to relax, catch up with faces they don't see as often, reflect on the day's chaos, and connect over delicious food, cold beer, and high-pitched laughter.

The best part of it all is the memories that live on forever in photos and videos, but mostly in the hilarious conversations that come up every time we're all together.

The inside jokes, the shared meal, the version of a colleague you only meet outside the office: that's what sticks, long after the bubble football score and the limbo standings are forgotten. And that's where trust actually gets built.

Moments like these are designed to strengthen connections, build stronger team bonds, and recognize the dedication and professionalism the team brings every single day.

Now we can finally say goodbye to summer!
